Part of the European Commission’s H2020 Circular Economy programme, CIRC4Life is an EU multi-national, three-years project started in May 2018, with the aim of developing three alternative business models along the product value chain:
co-creation of products or services with end-users
collaborative recycling and reuse
The project focuses on four industrial areas: LED lighting products, computer tablets, meat supply chain, vegetable farming and food.
The needs and preferences of end-users, will determine the product or service design with the idea of creating circularity starting from what users want.
"The overall aim of the project is to develop new products and services based on the circular economy using a co-creation, collaborative recycling and reuse and sustainable consumption approach."
